In order for the club to be prepared for the start of the year, we are hosting our annual Get Set Day, where club members are welcomed to help out setting up the cricket equipment ready for the new season. Once all the jobs are done, there will be an Open Adults training (weather permitting) and rolling onto a whole club welcome back social!
The schedule for the day is as follows -
From 10am - Get Set Day starts
Meet at Chelmer Park to help prepare the ground for the season ahead. Tasks needing doing is, preparing the nets, covers, sightscreens amongst other things. The more helpers we get makes the tasks more enjoyable so come along if you can!
From approx. 12:30pm - First outdoor open training session - (Weather Permitting)
ALTERNATIVELY
From 12:30pm - Man City vs Liverpool will be shown live in the clubhouse with the Bar open to all!
From 2:30pm onwards - The clubhouse will be open to welcome back all members for the 2023 season!
This is the first social of the year, to welcome back all players, colts, parents, supporters and family back to the club for the 2023 season! The bar will be open and we will have a few small events on with some games and light hearted competitions to get everyone back together again after the winter break. We would love to see everyone there for a catch up, a few games, with the football being on for those who want to watch (Chelsea vs Aston Villa at 5:30pm.
